Jr High Camp

Jr High Ministry will be going to Camp Great Oaks for Jr High Camp, June 10-12. Jr High Camp is offered for our youth (and their friends) going into 6th, 7th and 8th grade. We partner with Trinity Lutheran in the planning and running of this camp. These days at camp are fun and meaningful for our youth!

We will spend time and conversation in God’s Word, prayer and singing. Our theme this year is “Tested” from 1 Peter 1:7.

Additionally, youth are provided with free time to choose between swimming (with a blob and zipline), boating, fishing, disc golf, archery, hiking, outdoor games, crafts, board games, and time to relax with friends. We also have individual and group challenges on the high ropes course, zipline and low ropes course. These challenges are by choice and there are options to pick at a level that each youth is most comfortable with.

The cost of camp is $110 per child- Redeemer covers the rest. This includes all the camp amenities, meals, and snacks. Please contact Jennifer Anders if further financial assistance is needed or if you have any questions.

Family Camp

Redeemer is excited to offer a fun new family activity this summer for our families and friends of Redeemer- Family Camp! Family Camp will take place on Sunday evenings from 5:00 - 7:30 pm on June 30, July 7, July 14, and July 21. Family Camp is designed for families with children of all ages and allows parents, grandparents, and other adults to study God’s rock-solid truth in a world of shifting sands together. The world gives children and families lots of different messages, but God’s truth never changes. Together we will learn to recognize the difference between what the world tells us and the Truth from God’s Word, the Bible.

Family Camp will start with dinner at 5:00 pm and the activities will begin at 5:30. We will learn Bible stories from our Bible Storytelling Team, do crafts and activities, and play games. This will be fun for the whole family! Each night will offer a different Bible story and activities. Come every night or any of the nights that fit into your schedule. Nursery care will be provided for children ages two and under if that works best for your family.

Women of Redeemer Bunco Night

The Women of Redeemer (WOR) will host their first event of 2021 on Tuesday, September 21. We will host a Bunco Night in Miller Hall. Come join us for a fun night of playing Bunco. What is Bunco? Bunco is a game of dice where players, divided into groups of four, try to score points while taking turns rolling three dice. A “Bunco” is achieved when a person roles three-of-a-kind and all three numbers match the round number. Don’t know how to play? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you! It will be a night filled with laughter, community, and fun.

Pizza will be served between 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. and the game will start at 6:00. Free childcare will be provided for children up to age four.
