John 1:14, Exodus 40:34-38

In the Old Testament, the tabernacle was where God came to dwell among His people. His presence was revealed in visible ways—in fire, the cloud and smoke. John’s words in the New Testament gave a new picture. God the Son took on human flesh to deliver us. Jesus came and dwelt among us in a visible way, and in Him, people saw the glory of God.
