Good Friday

John 19:16-37

“For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled.”  (John 19:36)  John shows us Jesus, the crucified Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Those who did not believe in Him as the Son of God saw His death as defeat rather than glory.  God’s people saw this as the fulfilment of what God promised.  Read the following passages and reflect on God’s plan.
