John 16:16-33

After Jesus’ ascension, life was not easy for the disciples. They faced opposition, hardship, and sometimes even death as they carried His message into the world. Jesus knew what they would face and spoke this promise: “Take heart; I have overcome the world.” We too will face opposition and hardships.  Even today some Christians will face death for their faith.  Yet we walk on because of Christ’s victory. We can endure because Jesus has won!
