Palm Sunday John 12:12-19

Jesus entered Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna!” and waving branches. The crowd offers praise and lets out their cheers. Yet within a few days, many of those same voices will turn against Him. Jesus comes humbly, riding a donkey and fulfilling the prophecies, bringing peace. He came to conquer, but not as the people expected.  He would conquer sin, death and the devil.  He wasn’t the King they wanted but the King they needed.  Jesus rode on, knowing the cross and it’s suffering awaited Him.  That same King who rode in humbly now reigns in glory in Heaven.  That King went ahead to prepare a place for you, welcoming you.  Offer your praise to our resurrected King!
