John 1:9-11

We see the darkness of sin every day- in broken relationships, corruption, fear, and guilt. We know that things are not the way they should be and, at times, that darkness can feel overwhelming. Jesus stepped into this messy world filled with sin, pain, and trials. He walked through this sin torn world and carried our burdens and ultimately went to the cross to bear the weight of our sin. Because of Jesus, the darkness does not have the final word. Even when the world feels dark, we know that the Light has come, and no darkness can overcome it.
