John 12:30-50

“Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out.” (John 12:31) We feel the power of the Devil every day all around us in temptation, fear and doubt.  He is persistent in trying to pull us away from God.  When Jesus died on the cross, the Devil was defeated, just as God promised back in Genesis.  “He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”  Christ’s victory secures ours.  When Jesus returns, the devil will be cast out for good, and we will live forever in heaven.
