John 12:26-29

“In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death”  (Hebrews 5:7)  Jesus knew the weight of the cross and what was ahead of Him.  His suffering was real and His cry through prayer was real.  Jesus “learned obedience through what He suffered” showing us what it looks like to submit to God’s plan.  Jesus knew His purpose and why He came.  He came to bear our sin, redeem us and save us.  He knew our salvation depended on Him- this was His purpose.  Our salvation came at a great cost and Jesus was willing to bear that for you.
