John 3:1-21

God, in His love, gave us Jesus to save us from what we could not save ourselves from. 

Despite this enormous sacrifice, we keep living in sinful ways.  We turn from the light that exposes our sin and our need for a Savior. We turn away from God’s light because it uncovers the places in our lives that need repentance, change and forgiveness.  It feels easier to avoid it than to face it.  But the light of Christ is good!  Rather than turning from that light, we are invited to step into it.  The same light that reveals our brokenness also shows us the Savior who saves and restores us.
