Women of Redeemer
Connect with other women and find encouragement through friendships, social events, and mission projects. Grow in your knowledge of Jesus, and find ways to use your spiritual gifts to support the mission of Redeemer! A variety of activities take place throughout the year, and all women are invited and encouraged to attend.

Dorcas Circle meets in Miller Hall on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., September through May. Some of our projects include: sewing quilts for Lutheran World Relief, supplying baby quilts to Lutheran Social Services, and hosting funeral dinners, Lenten meals, and participating in other projects for the congregation. All ladies of Redeemer are welcome to attend and help with the various service projects.
LWML (Lutheran Women in Mission) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions (taken from LWML website lwmlcid.org). There are presently two LWML organizations at Redeemer: Dorcas Circle and Women of Redeemer. These two organizations are actively serving the mission ministries of Redeemer and the national LWML through their collection of “mites”.
