Women's Groups

Carol Symonds and Karen Boone

Carol SymondsCarol SymondsIf you are a person like Carol who goes south January through April, or if you’re a person that doesn’t like to go out much during the winter, or if you’re a person who just wants to join a Christ-centered group May through December, this is the right group for you! The group is open to both singles and couples.

Carol has experienced tremendous growth in faith through other Bible-centered groups and is eager for others to experience this growth. Carol & Tom have been married 41 years and members of Redeemer for 8 years. They have a daughter and son, whom are both married, and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys grandchildren, reading, camping and fellowshipping in Christ.

Karen Boone will be co-leading an ongoing women’s Christ Care group with Carol Symonds. This group meets at 2pm every Wednesday in the Bride’s Room at Redeemer. With a heart for caring ministry especially towards persons who have become widowed, Karen is letting God lead this group’s ministry. We listen together as God’ says “follow Me”. Karen is retired and lives in Chillicothe. She enjoys learning the Word, gardening, and especially enjoys people. She can be contacted at Boonekbnrb@aol.com

Debbie Seyller

Janine FairchildDebbie is starting a Women’s Group- “You didn’t see it coming. You probably weren’t prepared. But, after your youngest child obtained his/her driver’s license, or you moved your youngest to college, you are left with “what do I do now?” syndrome. This group will help you explore all of the possibilities open to the “I’m not a taxi driver anymore” world. A desire to grow as a Christian woman and a sense of humor are required for this small group. Contact Debbie Seyller at debjeffseyller@comcast.net.

Cindy Wamack

Cindy WamackWednesdays 6 - 7:20 p.m.
Cindy started the “Working Mom’s” group to provide support for mom’s who struggle with a career and raising a family. She enjoyed the time spent in her previous group so much that she began looking for another group specifically for moms who work only to find there wasn’t a small group like that. That is when she decided to start her own group!

“Our church is so big I feel it is important to connect with people in small groups and share experiences.”

Cindy has been a member of Redeemer for 8 years. She began when her son, Blake, was a baby.
