Step Three: Participate in a special worship service to be received as a new member of Redeemer's family.
The Discipleship Discovery Series
The Discipleship Discovery Classes are designed to help you discover and grow in your relationship with Jesus. You will interact with others who are interested in membership and Redeemer members who are coming to the class. You will have a better understanding of what it means to have faith in Jesus and be his committed follower.
All class materials are free and no one is asked to read or speak, unless you desire.
The schedule of classes listed here gives you the opportunity to participate at your convenience. Reservations are required for Class 301 only. Please contact Pastor Hartman at 691-2333 ext. 13 by the Wednesday prior to the class.
All classes meet on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. These three classes are normally required for membership at Redeemer.
Class 101— The Discovery Class
Discover what we believe and teach! A review of Bible basics and Lutheran teachings. Hear the vision and purpose of Redeemer. Leader: Pastor Miller
Class 201— Discovering Life
Discover what is involved in our personal relationship with God. Learn the four basic habits essential to being a committed follower of Jesus Christ. Leader: DCE Jeff Shoumaker
Class 301— Discovering S.H.A.P.E.
Discover that the church is not the building but the people and each individual has been uniquely created and gifted by God to fulfill a special purpose. The church is not a spectator sport, but a team of active players like you! Discover what God has shaped you to do for Him. Leader: DCE Jeff Shoumaker
